The information detailed within is applicable as of 30th June 2021 and is subject to change based on the latest government and FCDO travel advice.

The Government have announced the latest changes to the three-tier traffic light system for international which renews our hope in 2021 summer holidays. Several travel hotspots have been moved to the green watch list, meaning travellers will not have to isolate on return to the UK. Countries placed on the green or amber watch lists are under close review and may be moved to another tier depending on the latest COVID-19 risk assessment.

Freedom Insurance policies are available to countries on the Green and Amber lists but only to destinations where no advice against all or all but essential travel exists from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Whilst a country may have been placed in Green or Amber tiers, this does not mean the FCDO are allowing travel unless essential. All travellers must check the latest advice for their chosen destination at Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office - Travel Advice before purchasing insurance or travelling.
