Travel in 2021 & The Roadmap out of Lockdown

24 Feb 2021

image name

On Monday 22nd February 2021, the government announced plans to gradually ease national lockdown restrictions in England in four key stages beginning on 8th March; the new plans include the launch of a taskforce dedicated to reviewing our return to international travel. To read details of the four-step roadmap, please visit gov.uk/coronavirus

The government aim to make a decision on removing restrictions imposed on international travel, but not before 17th May. Whilst there is no guaranteed date for our return to the skies, this is very positive news for your 2021 travel plans!

According to BBC reports, tour operators across the UK are reporting a substantial increase in holiday bookings for the latter half of 2021 and into 2022, whilst also reassuring travellers of the option to move their travel dates if necessary. Now may just be the time to grab a bargain holiday package!
